Tempe to Mesa March 9th

Denise drove Mike and Russ back to Tempe so they could complete the last 20 miles of Sunday's ride. I stayed at Valle De Oro in Mesa and not 20 minutes after they left yet another down pour came through. The roads in the park had at least 5 inches of water running down them. I went out to cover the bikes that weren't being ridden and had to use the bike locks to hold down the tarps until I got them tied. The wind was blowing and then it started to hail! I didn't think they'd do the ride, but apparently it didn't really rain where they were. Another nice evening w/Dick & Elaine playing Mexican Train dominoes.
