Still Sanderson to Seminole SP
A side note to the previous post. You may have noticed the additional name Ibti - short of Ibtisan which means smiling in Arabic - not sure the translation is exact - Tim, maybe you can confirm. She was a high school English teacher in Washington, D.C., 32 years old, attractive young lady on a bike trip from DC around the US totally self-contained. She started last April and hopes to finish in July 2010! Her mother is a social worker and her father is a city planner & Arabic instructor. We offered to carry her gear and let her ride unburdened w/us. She gladly accepted and rode from the campground in Sanderson to Del Rio (2 days). She, in turn, did some cooking for us and is an excellent gook. She has been learning/studying about organic and sustainable agriculture, working on farms around the U.S. using her bike as her mode of transportation. WOW! You meet many interesting people on this type of trip and Ibti was a real pleasure to have me. We hope to meet up w/her in the future. If you are interested her blog site is http://abikeablefeast.blogspot.com/
