Navasota to Punkin 4/6

Rode from Navasota thru Anderson, Richards, New Waverley to Punkin/Timber Lodge RV Park. Overcast and windy. Dawn rode all day/Sue's last bike riding day before heading back to Houston to fly home. Getting hard to find RV parks as towns are sparsely populated and economic opportunity not great unless you're a rancher or work for one. Rain supposed to be coming in tomorrow afternoon. After a brief stop to check the bike maps, Dawn spotted a 2 ft long snake on the side of the road. Mike got off the bike, the snake was headed for the grass, but he wanted to see it. Fortunately, it didn't see him. Looking at an 80 mile ride to Silsbee tomorrow.
