Guess I was too wordy! Imagine that. We moved on down the road to a campground called Sacred Rock just outside Boulevard, CA. It is a much nicer campground. It has really rained down here and there are huge ruts around the road and the campground road was covered with sand. Ed called to say that Mike's luck was continuing - he works on a charter sailboat and they got a call that there was a Sunami warning in Capistrano and they had to take the boat out to sea. There were no big waves, but the bay emptied and then rushed back in again.

Sunday, Feb. 28 - Spent the morning getting ready for Russ & Denise to arrive. We still don't have water as we haven't gotten out to get a pressure valve. There are 5 wild turkeys that parade around the campground. We went for a hike up into the rocks. Russ & Denise arrived around 2 p.m. and we hurried to get their rental car unpacked so we could make the 1.5 hour drive to the airport to return their car. We then drove a part of the beginning of the bike ride.
